There is a long history of guitar and time to time as per
the requirement different types of guitar with new techniques evolved.
The very basic and most popular type of guitar we could say
is ‘Acoustic Guitar’. Acoustic Guitar is best suitable to generate generic
music. We can perform any song rhythm and tabs based on our interest.
In this post we are going to learn different types of Guitar, How to play the Guitar in correct Position, technique to play Guitar, type of sound & pitch and structure of

Choosing between Acoustic or Electric guitar
depends on your stage and skills, if you are a Beginner then you can choose
Acoustic guitar (Not classical) as Acoustic guitar gives you freedom to play
every technique or type of music. You can learn things better in Acoustic
guitar (Acoustic guitar is easy to carry and can be played anywhere). But if
you like Rock, jazz or metal music then you could choose Electric as well
(Electric guitar need Amplifier and so less portable). So choice is all yours!!!

Basically there are two types of Acoustic guitars, first one
is with Metal strings and another one is Classical one. The difference between
these two is classical guitar is having wider neck as compare to the Steel wire
Guitar.

In general term Steel
wire guitar is know by Acoustic Guitar as Nylon wire guitars are further
categorized as Classical Guitar.
The Acoustic Guitar itself holds multiple tasks and roles.
Acoustic Guitars are very handy, portable and ease of using it makes it Ideal
Guitar for everyone and hence this is the most popular form of Guitar.

Classical Guitar:
Classical Guitars are also known by Spanish Guitar when
referred by Country of origin.

These are best suited for classical/ advance guitarists
to play tabs and classical or Spanish melody. Your fingers are going to like
the Nylon touch if compared with the metal wires.

Electric Guitar:
Electric Guitars are popular in Rock and blues Guitarist
community. These Guitars are Solid body Guitars unlike Acoustic ones which is
having a sound hole in the middle of big rounded wooden body.

Electric guitars are plugged with amplifiers to amplify the
notes sound. Less pressure is required to play these guitars due to their
thinner strings.

Bass Guitar:
Bass Guitars are available with a range of 4 strings, 5
strings and 6 strings options which further extend its variety. These guitars
have long neck and thick strings.

Guitar string names,

First String is called as E string.
·
Second String is called as D String.
·
Third String is called as A string.
·
Forth String is called as E string.
·
If the guitar has Fifth String then it is called
as B0 (Optional String)
·
If the guitar has sixth string then it is called
as C3 (Optional String)
So the string names, number of strings your bass guitar
holds and there sequence are completely different from your Acoustic or
Electric Guitars.
