Guitar Chords | How to Put Bar (Barre) on Guitar (F# Chord):
You need to twist your finger a bit to the left side and
then apply small pressure. Since your finger front is always soft and so you
cannot put bar from the fleshy part of the finger. Finger side is harder than
the finger front and hence we always putting bar from the side of finger.
Also, make sure you don’t need to overlap the fret wire
(Fret separators). Index finger should be placed near fret separator to close
all loops correctly.
Guitar Chords | F# chord (F Sharp) or Gb chord
(G Flat):
There are two type of F# guitar chords (F Sharp) or Gb chord (G Flat chord) pattern
we can follow to play F# chord (Gb Chord) on guitar,
1.
F# Chord with E major chord pattern with bar (Barre).
2.
F# Chord with A major chord Pattern with bar (Barre).
To play F# chord (F sharp chord) or Gb chord (G flat Chord) in
an E major chord formation you will be playing the chord in lower chord and to
play F# chord (Gb) in an A major
chord formation you will be playing the chord in higher chord.
Since both of them are same chord so sound of both
of them is same however their pitch will differ. F# (Gb) chord with E major formation will have lower pitch and F# or
Gb chord with A major formation in Guitar chords will have higher pitch.

E Major Pattern of F# chord (F sharp) or Gb Chord (G flat)
This F# chord or Gb Chord formation in Guitar Chords will be done by putting Bar on second fret by your index finger
and rest of the finger will be forming E major chord pattern in terms of
picking strings (middle finger on third string and third fret, place your index
finger on fifth string and forth fret and pinky finger on forth string forth
fret)

2. A Major Pattern of F# guitar chord (F sharp) or Gb Chord (G flat)
This F# chord or Gb chord pattern will be formed in Guitar Chords by putting Bar on the ninth fret by your index
finger and rest of the finger will be forming
A major chord formation in terms of picking strings (middle finger on forth string eleventh fret, index finger on third string eleventh fret and pinky finger on second string eleventh fret).
How to play F# chord or Gb chord on guitar:
A major chord formation in terms of picking strings (middle finger on forth string eleventh fret, index finger on third string eleventh fret and pinky finger on second string eleventh fret).

Remember, we don’t need to strum sixth string while playing F# chord (F sharp chord) or Gb chord (G flat Chord) pattern. You
try to strum string 5th to string 1st only. Also, playing
F# chord (Gb) and playing F chord on guitar there is a difference one fret
towards right side only (for right handed guitarist) and playing F# chord with
E major pattern is popular pattern (F# chord in A major chord formation is
generally ignored).

1. F# Chord or Gb Chord:
To play F# chord or
Gb Chord put your index finger on 1st
string 9th fret, put ring finger on 3rd string 11th
fret and smaller finger on 2nd string 11th fret.

Since, you will be playing this F# Chord pattern on higher frets so string 4, 5 and 6 will not be played.
Start strumming from 3rd string only.
2. F#7 Chord or Gb7 Chord:
F#7 Chord or Gb7 Chord is the next alternative of F# Chord in the series.

To play F#7 Chord or Gb Chord place your index finger on 2nd
string 2nd fret, middle finger on 3rd string 3rd
fret and ring finger on 4th string 4th fret.
3. F# Chord or Gb Chord (Semi Barre
Chord-1):
We can say this F# Chord
or Gb Chord pattern as F# Chord Semi
Barre pattern, this F# Chord share really sound nice.

To play F# Chord put a semi bar from index finger on 1st
and 2nd strings 2nd fret and place ring finger on 3rd
string 3rd fret.
4. F# Chord or Gb Chord (Semi Barre
Chord-1):
This F# Chord or Gb Chord shape looks like Barre Chord
shape however you just need to pick 6th string with the help of
index finger.

To play F# Chord this pattern place your index finger on 6th
string 2nd fret, ring finger on 5th string 4th
fret, smaller finger on 4th string 4th fret and middle
finger on 3rd string 3rd fret.
